The media should stop highlighting the AP issue, says some wise politikus

I am amused that there are some quarters asking the newspapers not to highlight the AP issue. “Exco member Dr Noraessah Mohamad said the media should stop highlighting the issue.” Why doesn’t she ask TM not to have the press conference than there will be no AP issue/ news? It’s like barking at the wrong tree, blaming the press for the wrong doing. The AP issue is here to stay until TM is satisfied with the answers given.

To asked the newspapers not to highlight the AP issue. Maybe they can to a certain extend. Luckily we have blogs to read or else I don’t know what they will be hiding from us.

Perhaps to be transparent means not to highlight the AP issue. I don’t know you tell me.

Actually I think it should be toned down. AP this AP that I am so bored with it. Aren't there more important stuff to lambast the government with? Such as their pure incompetence at everything and not just AP.

Just an opinion.

Jon: It's a starting point, man. If you can't solve AP first, how do you solve the others?

thquah: I agree with your subtle insinuation. Recognize the usual modus operandi of the politicians here!! When the rakyat gets mad over an issue, just put a spin on it, then FORGET about it. People like Jon get seduced.

drugs in clubs, pirated VCDs/DVDs, snatch thefts, land clearing - brother, these issues get highlighted, then the politicians step in to shut them up, and everybody forgets about it.

I say ride the AP issue until it gets solved and the people in the wrong gets hauled up and gets punished so the same thing won't repeat!!!!!!!

Jon: again, some patience dude. tone it down for WHAT? So people can FORGET ABOUT IT?

Yes lo, agreed with you guys I don't know what will happen a world without free press. My opinion there is not much free press in Malaysia but since TM is voicing something is not right nobody dare to ask him to shaddape.See the difference.
